What is Show Biz Kids/Teen Idols?
Show Biz Kids is a non-auditioned children's show group ages 5 to 19.
Teen Idols is an auditioned show group comprised of outstanding singers and dancers
ages 13 to 19.
Show Biz Kids and Teen Idols rehearse once a week and perform in professionally
produced shows locally and beyond approximately every 14 weeks!
Show Biz Kids are divided into groups by age and meet for rehearsals once a week for
an hour. At rehearsals, the performers learn and practice at least 3 songs as a group.
These songs incorporate singing & dancing choreographed by the director.
For show time, each age group's songs are put together into one fantastic show with a
common theme. Past season's themes include "Rock & Roll," "Broadway," and "The
80's." Every August, we begin rehearsals for our HO-HO-HO HOLIDAY SHOW - a
celebration of Christmas music from the past and present!
What kind of songs do you perform?
Show Biz Kids and Teen Idols perform all types of songs from the 50's to today.
Selections are mostly top 40 hits and are upbeat, recognizable, family-friendly songs.
When can I join?
(it only happens 3 times a year)
Show Biz Kids & Teen Idols accept new performers at the beginning of each new
season's rehearsal schedule:
- JANUARY
- MAY
- AUGUST

What is my commitment?
Once enrolled for the season, your commitment to this program is once-a-week
rehearsals and up to 3 performances for that season.
What is the cost?
Costumes?
Performance outfits are simple and fun - kids wear their own jeans and sneakers and
purchase a graphic t-shirt OR hoodie in the season's theme/colors. T-shirts and
hoodies are provided by Lauren, the director, and prices are between $10 and $28.
When & where do you rehearse?
